## What is SEO Access?

**SEO Access** is AI Syndicate's traditional-SEO scoreboard — the Google-side twin of the AI Access score. It takes the same crawl that powers a site's AI Access audit and re-scores it **0–100 the way Google ranks**: indexability, titles and meta, Core Web Vitals, rich-result schema, headings, internal links, URLs, mobile, and page weight. Eleven weighted categories, with **every weight published**.

One crawl, two scoreboards: AI Access measures whether AI engines can find, parse, and cite a site; SEO Access measures the same site against Google's blue-link ranking rules. The two scores never blur into one number.

## What it checks (11 categories, published weights)

Indexability 18% · Titles 13% · Meta descriptions 10% · Mobile 10% · SEO schema 9% · Headings 8% · Internal links 8% · Sitemap & robots 8% · Images 6% · URLs 5% · Page weight/speed 5% — around 28 distinct issue types in total. Weights, thresholds, and the projected-lift formula are published in the product's Methodology tab.

**The gate cap:** if Googlebot is blocked in robots.txt or the homepage is noindexed, the score is capped at 30 regardless of everything else — because nothing else matters until Google can crawl and index the site.

## Core Web Vitals (the Speed tab)

Speed data comes from **Google PageSpeed Insights**. SEO Access prefers **field data** — real Chrome users' measurements of LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, and TTFB — and falls back to a lab run when a site lacks real-user traffic, always labeling which one is shown. Mobile and desktop, refreshed daily. Google's bars: LCP ≤ 2.5s, INP ≤ 200ms, CLS ≤ 0.10.

## Projected lift

Every open fix shows the score points it is projected to recover, from an openly published formula: **category headroom × category weight × severity share (high 55%, medium 30%, low 15%)**. Top fixes are ranked by projected lift, so prioritization is arithmetic, not vibes.

## Why the weights are public here (and not on AI Access)

Google's ranking guidance is public knowledge — there is nothing to game that Google hasn't already told the world, so publishing the weights only makes the score more trustworthy. The AI Access playbook is not public knowledge, which is exactly why those weights stay private.

## How it works

1. **Scan** — one crawl powers both scoreboards; the audit behind the AI Access score feeds SEO Access with no extra setup.
2. **Score** — 0–100 across 11 published-weight categories, plus real-user Core Web Vitals; honestly capped at 30 if Google can't crawl the site.
3. **Prioritize** — top fixes ranked by projected score lift, per the open formula.
4. **Re-prove** — re-scan any time; SEO Access keeps its own trend line, separate from the AI score.

## FAQ

**What is SEO Access?** AI Syndicate's traditional-SEO scoreboard: the same crawl as the AI Access audit, re-scored 0–100 the way Google ranks, across 11 weighted categories with every weight published.

**How is SEO Access different from AI Access?** One crawl, two scoreboards. AI Access measures AI-engine citation readiness; SEO Access measures Google's blue-link ranking rules, including SEO-only signals like real-user Core Web Vitals and a SERP snippet preview.

**What does SEO Access check?** Indexability (18%), titles (13%), meta (10%), mobile (10%), SEO schema (9%), headings (8%), internal links (8%), sitemap & robots (8%), images (6%), URLs (5%), page weight/speed (5%) — ~28 issue types.

**Where does the speed data come from?** Google PageSpeed Insights — field data (real Chrome users: LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, TTFB) preferred, lab fallback, always labeled. Mobile and desktop, refreshed daily.

**Why are SEO Access weights public when AI Access weights aren't?** Google's rules are public knowledge — nothing to game that Google hasn't already told the world. The AI playbook isn't public, so those weights stay private.

**What is the gate cap?** Googlebot blocked or homepage noindexed → score capped at 30, because nothing else matters until Google can crawl and index the site.

**What is projected lift?** The points a fix is expected to recover: category headroom × weight × severity share (high 55% / medium 30% / low 15%). Shown per fix, ranked.

**Which plans include SEO Access?** Every plan — fully unlocked from AI Pulse at $499/month, no feature-gated upsell inside it.

**Does fixing SEO issues help AI visibility too?** Often — the disciplines share fundamentals — but the scores stay separate on purpose, so you always know which game each fix is winning.

## Glossary

- **INP** — Interaction to Next Paint; Google's bar: ≤ 200 milliseconds.
- **CLS** — Cumulative Layout Shift; Google's bar: ≤ 0.10.
- **Field vs. lab data** — field is measured from real Chrome users over 28 days; lab is a single simulated run. Field is what Google ranks with.
