Why do calls from ChatGPT matter for a local contractor?
In our experience, a call that starts with an AI answer is a warm lead: the person asked for a recommendation and was handed a name, rather than a list of links to scroll through.
In our experience, for local trades the AI answer draws on the same public facts a customer would check: the company's website, its Google Business Profile, its reviews and the directories that list it. A contractor whose name, services and service area are clear and consistent across those places is easier for an AI engine to recommend. That is what our GEO work focuses on.
