AI Syndicate Local — a public index

Who AI assistants recommend, near you

Customers now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and 8 more AI assistants who to hire — and act on the names they get back. AI Syndicate Local makes those answers public and measurable: the businesses each assistant names, how strongly they agree, and how it all moves week to week, metro by metro and category by category.

Live now: California and Florida

16 metros across 2 states run the full weekly sweep — 20 service categories each, measured on fixed question sets.

Measured, never curated

Fixed unbranded questions per metro and category. Identical wording to five assistants, weekly. Names resolved to verifiable businesses, hallucinations dropped, history append-only, and a hard sample floor below which we say "recording" instead of inventing a top ten. The methodology publishes every rule.

Rankings summarize what the AI assistants answered on a fixed, unbranded question set — they are measurements of AI output, not AI Syndicate's endorsement of any business. Placement cannot be bought. Full detail in the methodology.

Frequently asked questions

What is AI Syndicate Local?

A public, state-by-state index of which local businesses AI assistants actually recommend. Each week we put the same fixed, unbranded consumer questions — "who's the best plumber near me"-style queries — to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and 8 more AI assistants, and record who they name for each metro and service category.

Can a business pay to be ranked?

No. Placement is never for sale and there is no editorial weighting — rankings are derived only from what the assistants answered, and the full derivation is published in the methodology.

Why do most states say "recording"?

Because no measurement has accumulated there yet. California and Florida metros are in the weekly sweep today; other states join as the program expands, and each publishes its first rankings only once real runs clear our sample floor. We publish measurements, not projections.

My business is listed incorrectly — or I want it removed.

Email support@aisyndicate.com. We'll correct misattributed listings, and we honor removal requests — the raw measurement history is retained, but the published pages will reflect your correction.
