What is Scrunch's Agent Experience Platform?

It is Scrunch's answer to a real problem: websites are built for people, and AI agents struggle to read them.

Scrunch says its Agent Experience Platform (AXP) helps you "observe what agents say and do", improve your site based on that, and give agents what they need without changing what people see. Its Agent Pages page explains how: Scrunch spots AI visits as they happen and serves an AI-ready version of your pages "at the edge" (from the network, before the page reaches the agent). People still get your normal website.

Two more parts sit under the same name:

  • Agent Traffic shows which AI agents visit, which pages they rely on, and how that traffic changes over time. Scrunch's pricing page lists AI agent and bot traffic on Core too.
  • Site Optimization finds pages that do badly with AI agents and gives you a ranked list of fixes. Scrunch says you can apply a fix to the page itself, or send an improved version to AI agents only.

On the pricing page, AXP shows as "—" on Core and "Custom" on Enterprise. So you need the Enterprise plan to get it.

Our view: whichever route you take, check that the version AI agents read says exactly the same thing as the page your customers see.

When is Scrunch AI the better choice?

Pick Scrunch AI if most of these are true:

  • You want AI agents to get their own version of your site. Scrunch's Enterprise plan serves AI-ready pages to agents while people keep the normal site. AI Syndicate doesn't do this; we change the real pages instead.
  • You are a large company with a security review. Scrunch's Enterprise page lists SOC 2 Type II, SAML and OAuth sign-in with Okta and Azure AD, role-based access, and multi-brand, multi-region setups with full language support.
  • You want Google AI Mode tracked. Scrunch lists it on Enterprise.
  • You want a team that needs more logins on the entry plan. Core includes five user licenses; our $99 plan has one seat.
  • You sell products online. Scrunch has a Shopping product to "see AI search performance at the product level".
  • You want help getting mentioned on other sites. Scrunch says it connects your citation data to partners such as Noble and Stacker to secure placements.
  • You are an agency. Scrunch has an agency offer with one workspace for every client, white-label outputs and up to 20% commission on referrals.

Scrunch says it is "trusted by 500+ leading brands and agencies" and names Lenovo, ADP and Akamai on its Enterprise page.

When is AI Syndicate the better choice?

Pick AI Syndicate if most of these are true:

  • You want to start for less. AI Pulse is $99/month, against $250/month for Scrunch Core. Pay yearly and you get two months free.
  • You want every engine from day one. All 12 come on every plan, including Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral. Scrunch's Core plan lists four engines, and its pricing page lists neither DeepSeek nor Mistral on any plan.
  • You don't want features locked behind a sales call. Our three self-serve plans are the same platform; they differ only in tokens, seats and markets.
  • You want the fix, not just the finding. Each problem comes ranked with the code included. Copy it, let the platform apply it on a supported CMS, or, on AI Command, connect a coding agent like Claude Code or Cursor to open a pull request for you. The same scan re-checks the page afterwards.
  • AI engines get facts about you wrong. Hallucination Watch checks answers against your verified facts and drafts the correction.
  • You're a local business. The platform tracks Google Business Profile health and your map-pack rank, and checks your listings on 13 platforms.
  • You'd rather someone else did the work. AI Managed adds a dedicated account manager; AI Command is our done-for-you service, where our team ships the content and schema. See pricing.

What would each cost for a small business?

An example, using each company's published prices on 6 October 2026. Say a single-location law firm wants to track ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.

If you only need the four engines Scrunch Core covers and want five logins, Core may suit you. If you need Claude or Gemini on a small budget, AI Pulse covers them. Our token allowance caps how much you can run each month; you can top up or move up a plan.

What should I check before choosing either one?

Run the same short test on both, whichever way you lean:

  1. Write down 10 questions your customers really ask, such as "best estate lawyer in Austin" or "do I need a lawyer for a small claims case".
  2. List the AI engines your customers use. Then check the plan you'd buy covers them, not just the top plan.
  3. Ask who makes the changes. A recommendation is only useful if someone on your side has time to act on it.
  4. Ask what you'd pay for a full year, including any annual terms. Scrunch's pricing page has an FAQ on annual pricing; the answer wasn't in the page text we read, so ask them.

Our free check shows where AI engines mention you today, so you have a starting point to measure either tool against.
