With our starting numbers for med spas, dentists and clinics (60 leads a month, 35% close rate, $1,200 per patient, 30% of buyers asking AI first, AI score 40 raised to 80), the calculator estimates about 125 more leads, 44 more patients and $52,422 more revenue a year, or $39,317 in year one while it ramps up. That is about $18,348 in added profit a year at full speed. An estimate, not a promise.
What starting numbers does the calculator use for med spas, dentists and clinics?
| Number | Starting guess for med spas, dentists and clinics |
|---|---|
| Leads a month | 60 |
| % of leads that become clients | 35% |
| What one new client is worth | $1,200 |
| Profit margin | 35% |
| Times a client buys again | 4 |
| % of buyers who ask AI first | 30% |
| AI score today → target | 40 → 80 |
These are our starting guesses so the page shows a number right away. Replace every one with yours. "What one new client is worth" means the money from a new patient's first visit or treatment. Return visits are counted separately, as repeat buys.
How does the math work out?
| Step | Math | Result |
|---|---|---|
| AI names you now / at score 80 | score 40 → 28%; score 80 → 46% | 28% → 46% |
| Share of your leads from AI today | 30% × 28% ÷ (30% × 28% + 70% × 32.5%) | 27% |
| AI leads a month | 60 × 27% | 16.2 |
| Extra AI leads a month | 16.2 × (46% ÷ 28% − 1) | 10.4 |
| Extra leads a year | × 12 | 124.8 |
| Extra patients a year | × 35% | 43.69 |
| Added revenue a year | 43.69 × $1,200 | $52,422 |
| Year one, with a 6-month ramp | × 75% | $39,317 |
At a 35% margin that is about $18,348 in added profit a year once you reach score 80. The report compares that with AI Managed, from $3,000 a month. On first visits alone it doesn't pay for itself in year one: covering it would take about 86 new patients a year, and the year-one return is about $0.38 per $1. Counting the starting guess of 4 return visits per patient, one year's new patients bring about $91,739 in profit over their visits. Change the numbers to yours before deciding anything. The "AI names you" rates, the 32.5% middle rate and the 6-month ramp are our own estimates.
What do buyers ask AI when they need one?
In BrightLocal's 2026 survey of 1,002 US adults, 45% had used ChatGPT or another AI tool for local business recommendations, up from 6% the year before (source).
These are examples of the questions we test for med spas, dentists and clinics. Each one is a moment when a buyer asks an AI tool instead of scrolling a list of links:
- "Best place for wrinkle injections in [your city]"
- "Dentist near me that takes [your insurance]"
- "How much are veneers in [your city]?"
- "Which med spa in [your city] has the best reviews for laser treatments?"
If the answer names three businesses and yours isn't one, that buyer never sees you.
What makes AI name one med spa or dental office over another?
In our audits of med spas, dentists and clinics these are the things we check first:
- One page per treatment with what it is, who it's for, and a price range.
- Provider names and credentials written as text.
- Insurance you accept listed on the site, not only on the phone.
- Easy booking that works on a phone.
- Reviews that describe the visit. Never confirm a patient's details when you reply, and never pay or reward anyone for a review (the FTC's 2024 rule bans buying reviews).
For how AI tools pick sources in general, see what an AI citation is.
Which number should a med spa or dental office change first?
Times a client buys again. Return visits decide whether this pays off. The starting guess is 4 more visits per patient.
Health and medical advertising has extra rules on claims, before-and-after photos and patient privacy. Anything you publish still has to follow them.
The full method, and the checks that stop the answer running too high, are on the main AI Revenue Calculator page.

Questions from med spas, dentists and clinics
Why is the lifetime value so much bigger than the first year?
The starting guess says a patient comes back four more times. So each new patient is worth about five first visits. Change the repeat number in the detailed section to match your practice.
Can the calculator see my patient data?
No. It only uses the numbers you type into the page, and the share link never carries your name, email, website or revenue.
